The World Wide Web of Dowsing

Part 2: This is a continuation of the story in the Summer 1996 American Dowser giving
the background of the formation of The Digital Dowsers who are now in "pending" status
with 22 ASD members (at this count) sending applications for charter membership,
plus two whales, George Gray and Kogi, one a gray and the other a humpback. Thanks to
Willy the Whale (Bill Bennett of Maui HI) for his connecting link. We are truly an
interplanetary and interspecies chapter. Think of that!
In August I traveled up the West Coast headed for the Northwest Society of Dowsers
20th annual conference in St. Helens, Oregon, a campout at the fairgrounds put together
by Mary Browne, Rob Abbott and Mike Doney, to name a few of the legion of workers
it takes to put on a dowsing do. On the way, our caravan of three "rigs" (Walt and Joyce
Woods, Ruby Bickford and me) stopped to meet and talk with the Norcal Dowsers in
Redding, California, led by Ethel Pixley, Marge Palm and Carl Bracy, and a spanking
new chapter in Eugene, Oregon, headed up by Jacquie Bonner and June Walton. Our President
spoke on all three occasions and I was able to promote our Digital Dowsers. A great
deal of interest was generated as people are more and more coming on line everyday.
